Getting into Character

Perfecting the characters you write can be a difficult task.

I often write profiles, search Pinterest for images that get my brain swirling, or simply indulge in multiple days of people watching.

When you’re writing middle grade historical fiction the last option is a little more difficult.

In an attempt to channel characters in my most recent release, ARRGH!!!, I walked around with a tricorne hat on my head.

My husband didn’t even notice.

I think I might take my work a little too seriously.

Next time I may have to carry a sword.

What do you think?

Happy Reading -Stacey

  1. Why does the thought of you tromping around in a tricorne hat not surprise me one bit? And yes! You do need to carry a sword 🙂
