Arrgh Won the 2015 Readers’ Favorite Silver Medal for Children’s Books Grades 4-6

Nothing feels better then when some one tells you they like what you’ve written.

The feeling is euphoric.

Euphoric:

Adjective

They received a euphoric welcome: elated, happy, joyful, delighted, gleeful; excited, exhilarated, jubilant, exultant; ecstatic, blissful, rapturous, transported, on cloud nine, in seventh heaven; informal on top of the world, over the moon, on a high.

So when I got an email from the people at Readers’ Favorite telling me I’d won a silver medal for children’s books grades 4-6 for my middle grade novel ARRGH! I smiled, blushed and whispered- wholly sh#@!

Thank you readers and reviewers! This is such a great honor.

I really wanted to go to Miami to pick up the award in person in November, but I think we are moving that weekend.

That however, is another blog post.

Now who do you think looks better?

Jim Carey’s award is gold and mine is silver, but hey, next time I plan on matching him.

Happy reading – S
