What’s Happening Next:

Okay there is no excuse. I’ve been having way too much fun with our children.

The week before school started I took our youngest daughter, Halle, to Whistler British Columbia. She wanted to go bungee jumping.

We started the trip off by zip lining down Blackcomb Mountain with Ziptrek Ecotours. Our wonderful guides, Tarrah and Kari  (I hope I spelled their names right as their card went through the wash) couldn’t have been better. We were told and our first line on the newly revamped Eagle tour is the longest and fastest in North America.

I have zip lined before and I don’t think they were exaggerating.

Nothing like getting the blood pumping early.

The next day we really did jump off a 160-foot high bridge. Halle had wanted to do it for years. The kid is fearless.I highly recommend Whistler Bungee if you want to give it a try.

But why am I telling you all this?

Because the girls are now back at school.

We dropped them off last Tuesday. All three of them are away at school in Canada this year.

Our home is far too quite now and when I went to the grocery store I didn’t have to buy any mac n’ cheese for the first time in 15 years.

I tackled the growing pile of bills I chose to neglect for too long on Wednesday and on Thursday…

I started to write again.

So what’s next?

Whisper, a new Lakeview Novel by Stacey R. Campbell

ARC (advanced reading copies) of Whisper, book 2 in the Lakeview series will be out late October for review with the paper and electronic sales following 3 to 4 months after.

South by Southwest, my first middle grade book will be released next summer. Think Treasure Island and The Tales of Despereaux. This book has me smiling from ear to ear.

Scream book 3 in the Lakeview series will follow coming out early spring 2015, if all goes well. The write is well underway and the story line is really exciting.

I find I am typing until my fingers cramp.

Hush the movie is starting to take shape as well.

The whole concept of something I wrote being made in to a feature length film is absolutely surreal to me.

They are vetting screenwriters now.

After that they will start casting.

So stayed tune.Things are just starting to get fun.

Happy reading – Stacey
